The[&:] blobs are reversed clouds.
I get such things happening sometimes when running out of memory (window or video) in WITP.

Esp when alt-tabbing between applications.

Usually it goes away, or I exit and reload the turn.

This happens only in full screen mode. I'm not sure I wasn't ALT-TAB'ing before.

besides these clouds, there is a interesting way how bases, AF, TFs do appear. I think developers have seen them, doesn't look like a complete garbage. [;)]

As I said, never seen it in WITP.

I'm still trying to figure out how its happening, I have tried to reproduce it, and cannot. What are your system specs, maybe its the video card running out of memory.

I've had it happen if I alt+tab out and then back during a resolution/replay sequence

Last time it happened without Alt-Tab'ing, just start WPO and load save.

I have AMD Athlon1800 (1.5GHz) with Nvidia chipset, 768MB RAM, GeForce5600 (128MB) with the latest driver, DirectX 9c.

Next time it will happen I'll check memory available.

Me too!

I experience screen corruption sometimes when I alt-tab out of WPO and more commonly when I close the game and then load it again. In either case I need to reboot the computer to get the program to run. Sometimes see an error message that some .bmp will not load....

I have an Athlon 3.0 and amm using an Nvidia 5700 Le with 256 mehs. Drivers are Nvidia's latest (also a problem with the prior driver set) and Directx 9.0c
