Are there leaders in this game?
If so, is this game going to be plagued by the leader bug like W.I.T.P.?

Yes they are. There is a chance for everyone to be a leader in WPO! [:D] (at least was until yesterday)

And since WPO is mainly based on WITP engine, I suspect that it might suffer from L-bug. However, the main reason of leader bug to appear is huge amount of unit fragments which WITP has and WPO doesn't . So, IMHO there is only virtual L-bug in WPO and personally I haven't met him. It would be really pity to find yourself eaten by that... [:D]

In early beta we had some leader problems, but Mike squashed those bugs and as of now, with the actual game itself (not talking early beta), we have yet to find a single instance of the leader bug. So I am hoping that means that at least WPO is free of it.

If W.P.O. can be fixed to be free of the leader bug, then why can't W.I.T.P be fixed also?

I think it might have something to do with massive number of air units in WitP...
