Was there ever a official patch for BOB and if so, does anyone have it or know where I can get it?

Just reloaded the game after years and can not remember if there was one or not. Also I am experiencing a crash every now and then on my new computer. Running XP.

There was a patch...cannot remember what the number was...

I am having the same problem with XP as well.....played BOB to death on my old Win98 PC but now that I bought a new XP one it crashes all the bloody time.

Hope someone else replies to this thread !!! Would love to boot it up again.

Looking forward to Matrix's redo of these beauties...in fact I have kept myself from buying WPO so that I can get these two

Thanks, that did it.................would love to hear any ideas about the crashes though.

I loved both versions (BOB and BTR) but highly favored BTR as the Germans. Looking forward to the new improved version. Hope they use most or all of JC's improvements and all.

Yes, V 1.02 was the latest patch for BoB. Ever.

Did that download OK ?

Thought BoB was more stable in XP than BTR. Have no idea why this should be.

For BoB
on XP try right clicking on the Exe icon, go to Properties

got to compatbilty

then click on run in compatibilty mode, set say win 98

and it should run fine

I have not had a crash since I did it
