Loading troops

Hi -
I am playing allied against the AI, and I am experiencing a problem.
I hope someone could kindly spare a moment to help me [;)]
I am trying to move troops from Melbourne and Sydney to another
bases (PM and nothern Australian baes), and I just can't.
When I move APs to Melbourne and Sydney, and try to load troops
, not a single LCU show up on the troop list although there are several
INF Divs, Bdes, and Eng Units(Load capacity was more than enough) for sure.
Strangely, I could load LCUs in Brisbane just fine. Does anyone have an idea
what I might have done wrong or skipped something?

Those troops are part of a "restricted command" (Austrailia command). You can't load them on tranports, or air-tran them. They can only march.

Restricted comands are
Austrailia Com
NZ Com
West Coast
ABDA
USAAFE (sp?)
China Command

Any unit assigned to those commands, cannot be loaded. You must first spend the poliitcla points to convert them to a non-restriced comand. THEN you can load them.

For Japan, the restriced commands are
Home Defense
KwangTung
Chine Exped

China Command doesn't seem to be restricted. At least in my V1.40 I'm able to air-transport them. Didn't try the shipping as there isn't a frendly port around.

sure you don't have Chinese troops under SEAC??...theres quite a few of them

Chinese troops under SEAC are in Burma allready, and I'm now transporting the rest of Chinese units from Yenen(sp) which are under China Command.
