Thursday afternoon/eve TCP/IP game

Post by Grand_Armee »

I've got a nice long weekend ahead and I'd like to spend some time with human opponents before the new year's eve booze blitz.

If, on 29 December from say 1300est USA (1800 gmt) anybody wants to meet me with version 1.2.17, please leave a reply to this post. I imagine the game would last 5-6 hours...maybe a little more.

Cheers!

well, I'm currently available most days for an online game. I use xfire under the alias "lordofkhorne" and I'd be happy to play you.

I'm vastly new though, so I expect I'd not be much of a challenge for ya.

Hi Khornish,
I'd be glad to play you. Hopefully we might even get a couple of others by then. Since we have different instant message services, we might meet at the Matrix chat before we begin. Otherwise, I'll have to send you a PM through here...and to get that you'd have to refresh your screen. I'll look for you in about 10 hours. That'll be near 4am my time.

I do recommend xfire to you. It's dead easy and much better than a standard messaging service.

Anyhow, I'll check in here near the appointed time.

Hi, I'll try to be here. A 4 or 5 player game is what I really want to test.

Now we ned to decide who is going to be what.
I don't like the harder setting Garoco likes (he is a better player then I am)
I like normal difficulty, 1792 start 23 year highest glory.
The best player should be France (Garoco is a good French player)
I like Britain or Russia.
