throttle not working with Saitek Cyborg Evo Joystick

Post by iganza »

I just got this joystick. Its working really well however in the game the throttle does not work. It does working in the control panel for the joystick.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

I'm just going to state the obvious, just incase it is something simple. Have you done in your options section in the game and turned on the throttle option?

I know with mine I had to key bind my throttle. If you do it just make shure its in its no thrust or throttle position before you keybind it.

Greetings and thanks for the reply.

Indeed I did turn on the throttle in the options section. I never thought of the keybinding idea. That certainly should work but it would be no better then the keyboard. ie: throttle can be only on or off -- you would lose the ability to increments I think? I'll have to try it next time I boot into windows.

Thanks....

FYI I was able to get this working!

All that I had to do was go into configure axis or whatever it is. There I needed to select the throttle and then twiddle it. This had the effect of assinging it to the Z axis in my case (by default its assigned axis did not work). After this it works like a charm. Even hits the augmenter when I get near the end of the throttle play!
