yesterdays para drop deep behind ravers lines was a bit light so paras will be out of action for a while
I hoped to take airbase with planes on ground but air lift capacity was too small - only 1 tina unit

The Para drop came as a nasty surprise as I thought that I had killed all of the buggers off earlier in the game....looks like I now have to also cover my rear bases. [:@]

paras are great - too little tinas unfortunately
in my next game I'm going to expand their production to have 100 transports soon - than all rear bases would potentially be mine

Lack of coordination between bombers and fighters and 5 helens is down in result
my sweep mission don't work (morale , range supply and so on are ok)
Easy victories are no more in India and I decided to abandon city and move toward defensive perimeter - theater should freeze for a while as I doubt Raver will counterattack
another bug found
when enemy bombard my troops all movement are cancelled to 0 !!!
hope Devs read aar from time to time
thanks to Raver's kindness I withdraw

So Sneer will now hold the south east of India......I will advance but not until I can grow my Royal Air Farce. India will prove to be troublesum as it is difficult to advance much more south than Lucknow without longrange fighters. Over Lucknow I will aim to winn the airwar and continue to groom my fighter chaps....they are already at 75% exp....imagine what they will be able to do in Spits ![8D]

Ok
Operation in east india is officially finished
there were 3 objectives
1. secure perimeter and burma from allied airpower by taking good airfield position
2. cut china of supply
3. destroy as much commonwealth troops as possible
first two fully acomplished
3rd one completed in small percentage as 1 BDE + BF from india + remanents of burma army were killed permanently.
allied india army is still in reasonably good shape

my tasks for near future in india- create delay line at banares- jamshadpur and main defence line at jamshadpur -asanol
delay line will be abandoned when allied air power from lucknow will be too strong for my ground forces

china situation - I estimate china troops get only 30% of needed supply so should deplete reserves fast. - I estimate that in 3-4 months I'll start offensive there
slightly over 100HI + 400 res + 25 oil working in china and I think Raver reached the point in which he can't rebuild damaged centres and can't defend with fighters too

all major pre-war objectives are taken - only secondary ones based on opportunities (mostly in pacific region) are left now
so you should see me in action sooner or later as both southeast fleet and 4th fleet units are really strong now

Sneer is off for the next few days gallavanting around someplace so things will be slow here for 3 days or so. The one big bonus of his offensive into India is to help bring up the exp points for all of the RAF fighter units.....this has shaved off months of training time for me and has given me the offensive means to strike back at him in this area.[8D]
China is a worry as Sneer correct states the supply situation is very very bad.........not much that I can do about it till I make some in
roads into Burma which will be in '44/'45[8|]

In the South Pacific I have been trying to tempt Sneer to over extend but he just will not take the bait....pity.

little action in few days so I will post combat report when more will happen
every day I bombard Chengtu as sooner or later it will be his last place to defend
also Sian and Chungking is under fire from time to time - to keep oil production low
there is some bug that cancel movement of my troops in india even if Raver do not shoot at them - it looks like my troops do not recognize retreat order :-)
all I can say preparation for operation Green has begun.
I have established perimeter and dig in fast but feel I can't leave initiative in allied hands so early
I think I'll make Raver's offensive delayed by taking one of my secondary objectives

are your troops in the same (base) hex with enemy? If this is a case than you can only retreat by cliking on another base directly (you must own the base), not on the open hex

Things are quite while Sneer shakes out his plans and organizes for his next offensive. As the allied player I am still in reactive mode but behind the lines the might of the US industry is starting to show some results.[8D]

it is not a mistery that I plan late summer china offensive which is targeted in taking 2-3 enemy bases and bleeding chinase units
But I need do do sth first
repairing of damaged resource centers
building up industry - especially 2nd generation of army fighters
massing 100-200k of free supply to make offensive worth its name
mass manpower ( i recently got 4 inf div what made pool dry )
I assume in 3 months none of chinase bases will offer 20k needed to reinforce units so it will be good time to kill chinase without seeing respawning yellow horde

it is not a mistery that I dig in all positions I claimed my main defensive perimeter - timor - PNG -Salomons - pac isl-kuriles

it is not a mistery that there will be at least 1 more and 2 probably offensive jumps somewhere targeted in delaying allied offensive
