How do I change between 2D and 3D Units on the detailed battle screen?

Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

How do I change between 2D and 3D Units on the detailed battle screen?

Post by nac »

Hi

Just downloaded and installed the game along with the relevent patches.
My problem is that on reading the manual on page 40 it metions being able to use both 2D and 3D units on the detailed battlefield.
Whenever I enter a detailed battle I appear to be using the 3D option (with a figure and silly little box's representing each unit.
I would prefer to use the icons shown on Page 40 bottom right (Chit View as they call it) which I presume are the 2D ones, as I prefer not to have icons of figures on my battle map. However I cannot see where to switch between these options and cannot find anything in the manual to tell me how to do it.
I would appriciate any help anyone can give on this subject.
Many thanks in advance

It's on p72 of the manual. Hit the "+" key to change the views.

Have fun.
