Remember that the ADG rules will be modified to reflect the fact you are playing on a computer. The effect on outcome of battles will be (hopefully) zero, but the interface will be quite different.

with the added benefit that I can't forget about a rule and violate it, and never realize I made a mistake in the first place. I wonder how many hundreds of times I did that in my first WiF game, which was also against a first timer.

It seems impossible to not get some rules wrong iun each game, MWIF will be great just as a way of enforcing you to follow the rules.
