Aye lots of AF's but he cannot have that many trained LR Fighters left.

Most of his trained Zeke pilots will be used to refill KB's coffers so a hit and fade attack if I can pull it off especially if I time it so that B24's from Darwin hit the AF's in range at the same time has to be a possibility.

4 CV's and 4 CVL's in a hit and fade attack is certainly a possibility.

c 200 F6F's supported by P38's from my small AF's in the banda Sea and 4E Bombers out of Darwin could do a lot of damage.

Avoiding naval disasters is high on my list as well asdicus and my priority for the next month is Rabaul/ Lae and Maloep (then Wotje) If I secure those I would be very tempted to attempt the Kendari Operation as I said earlier primarily to keep him guessing am I actually going to drive on Singapore or will I go straight at PI I am intending a slow cautious island hopping campaign but I want him to think im going to be mor aggressive than that to force him to cover rear areas.

The Allies have all carriers, no? Surprising that with all the heavy losses in BB's and cruisers, the CV fleet is remarkably intact.

3 pre war CV's were lost around Java I think Yorktown/ Enterprise and Lexington all of which will re spawn as Essex class CV's in next 6 months.

Whatever happened to BB Indiana? I don't recall seeing it sunk and it hasn't been mentioned in the OOB lately.

Andy, please keep cool.
I am afraid in this moment his fighterarm is as ready as it could be. You might realize a reduction of Zeros training in China, but that would be it.

You knocked at his carriers and sunk some of his lighter ships. He still has about 10 fleet carriers and that is a strong force. You do not need to hurry so much. Repair your ships, refill your squadrons and then support your invasions in Rabaul an Kavieng. This way you might get some more warships of him.
Eat his fleet slowly and chew it well. He might hit back in a very short time.

2.69 to 1 on VP's now so I am ok on AV

Frank dont worry Im not going to play this any more aggressively than I have to.

I am going to have to refill my CV Fighter Sqns 1st and it looks like his fleet is at Balikapan not Kendari so its a step to far I think.

Quiet turn as I stood down most of my bombers to rest them after the last few days.

And i got VP's for her air group as well [:D][:D]

I actually got very lucky that I picked on the Escort Carrier Group I am sure the defences /DC and armour of the main fleet CV's is better than the slightly fragile CVE's also they slow him down so his tactical speed will increase if he decided to stop using thes CVE's with KB.

Just got confirmation Chitose and Shoho also sank thats 1 CV 3 CVL and a CVE all gone from the enemies ranks.

Apart from that it was mostly a reorg type turn

5 BB's on the west coast repairing I could really use a few of them pronto

Beaufighters are actually really good at anti barge/AK strikes they do a lot of damage at low level.

And they have the all important range

An intersting turn

5 Amphib Corps got ashore with the help of the Alabama and Colorado

I have only sent 1 Div and 2 Eng regts so I may be light in the 1st wave as he has 9 forts.

Ill bring in more or some paras if I need to but actually what would be really nice is for PZB to bring in reinforcement s as he did at Kavieng.

Sucking his rapid reaction force out of Kwal would be nice !!!!

I have about 4 Divs prepping for Kwal so I can spare one more to Malo if required

Kai island was siezed by Para drop.

Ops in this area are to be carried out on a shoe string so we will see how things go.

I am sending Halsey and Spruance into the seas around Kai Island and will perhaps try for Balikapan or Kendari depending on reaction.

In the last 10 days I have shot down 1000 aircraft he cannot have that many left available not when you discount the required forces in SOPAC and CENTPAC and training in China

SOPAC is going to be quiet until Rabaul and Lae are taken

CENTPAC will be my main thrust for the next few months.
