who may i email a game am playing to -- problem is -(and has been on and off though ?)-when just before you load you see a screen off to the right showing the date ,time and map --- now the map shows no colors or regions -then when playing the game ---lets say its the russ turn -- when hes finished and goes to chinese turn a russ region box stays on the whole chinese turn in the middle of the screen --- then when finished you goto the start up to load a game you still see the ruus region box on the start up screen with the chinese turn sign in the upper top left - -(only with this game too am playing 4 other players -n/p-) - plz advise

You can mail a save game to me to take a look at. My email is janbs@stofanet.dk

Please include which version of the game each of the players are using as that sounds like the most likely reason for your problems.

Likely versions are: 1.000 (meaning you never patched it), 1.040 US (meaning you have the most recent official patch), 1.040 Int (meaning you have the version that is sold in Europe which supports several languages and finally 1.07x (meaning you are using the beta patch).

I have the same problem, the whole maps appears blank in the PBEM game...

I have the US 1.040 and my opponent has the International 1.071...

I think that might be the problem, so i tried looking for the patch in "members downloads" BUT THERE IS NO SUCH THING...

Currently the US version and international versions are not compatible. We have a version in test now that makes them compatible with each other so that players can PBEM. Normally, you need to have the same version as all the other players to PBEM. I think you'll have to wait for the upcoming 2.0 patch (intended for all) in order to play between US and international versions. I think Matrix took down the 1.071 beta version as there were some issues and it was not intended for the international users (I'm surprised that your opponent upgraded to it). Hopefully we'll have the 2.0 version ready in within the next few weeks (possibly sooner as a beta download).
All understanding comes after the fact.
