AFTER ACTION REPORTS FOR 12/08/41

My generals are alredy infected with victory disease. I'm done my job outstandingly - took the Wake and soon will have recon post in the Kaveing, captured Guam. Zero production reached 119 planes/for month and will be over 200 by the end December. But even such great work /from my side/ can't guarantee victory if my team mates makes such greenhorns mistakes (?)! Common, guys let me reminds you - we are playing for honour of our country, not for peanuts!


Troops continue to unload at Khota Baru, while BB TF (Kongo, Haruna) bombed the base again - i think it will be enough, i'm sure that Hawker don't want to capure KB with 100 % damaged AD. Am I sure?

Several attack on fleet at the Khota Baru, but no hits are recorded. Bankok is also attacked with few bombers.

Now look how Hawker uses the minelaying subs - for ambush in the shallow waters! If I were him i would withdraw them to deeper waters. Maybe I should tak command over the subs too?

Looking good, thanks for asking [:)] I've decimated Allied Naval forces (lot's of CAs, CLs, DDs and PoW and Repulse sunk) without loosing any of my surface ships (several slightly damaged). I took Canton Is. (and destroyed some 45 B-17s there [:D] ), and managed to capture more than 200K Kuomitang troops in China, so things are looking bright for me right now (its only 2nd Feb '42). Wonder how long it'll last [;)] ?

OK Tojo wants me to talk about Philipines and China strategy so here it goes:

PHILIPINES
Like I said before we are landing en force at Lingayen hoping to take San Marcelino quickly and storm Clark Field soon after that. Moving from Lingayen to San Marcelino will be off course a river crossing so the shock attack will be imminent. I need to have enough strength to take that base in the first assault and it has to be done quickly to satisfy Tojo's Indian Ambition.

At Legaspi I hoped I will meet the usual opening from the allies, meaing no resistance, and I just wanted to take the base with no real offensive in mind as bulk of the forces would be north going after Clark Field. Now that allies moved Naga divisions south to Legaspi, I'll be moving 16th division to Naga and it will arrive in 2 days, meaning 1 day to late to catch philipinos down at Legaspi... We shall see what will happen, maybe they stay at Legaspi for 1 day too long... Keeping fingers crossed.

Laoag recived BF's and Construction Bn's and first aircraft landed. At the moment just some Lilliies and Nates with a single Zero chutai and few recon chutais. Soon Sallies will arrive from Kwantung and more preassure will be applied to Clark Field area. Fighters that are there now cover Lingayen and Naga landings.

CHINA
Nothing happened there but I do have a kinda strategy in mind, that I efectionately call "A stupid China strategy for Japan that was never tested and probably will never be used again" [:D]

My main initial assault will be at Homan ?!?! I'm moving northern area forces and Ichang area forces hoping to create enough assault points to walk over Homan's defences. This sounds silly but like I said I never done it before. I am hoping that as usual allies will stack alot of troops at Homan and I'm hoping to kick them out reducing their strength and forcing them to abandon northern China... It is so silly that I have to try it. I'm just hoping that Tojo will not read this and try to force me to change my mind [:)]

As i suspected GH is going to make run thru Malaya[;)]. It was good decision not to land at Kuantan becouse he runs at hi speed[:D]. Khota Baru will be in mine hands tomorrow and after repairs promptly fill with all kind of aircrfts. I will bomb Singapore to stone age before cross the river.
Imperial guards loading on ships at Crampong Trach and will be sent to Songhkia where other troops already in phase of unloading. 55th division approaching Krampong to be sent on Malaya. Several renegade ships from Singapore try to make it threw Malacca strait,my quick response is dispatching one nell daitai to Banghkok and one ann squadron to Songhkia. Nothing can pass here.

Landings at Kuching,Miri,Brunei and Jasselton. All that bases probably will be conquered in two days. Problem is left wing of my operation that depends of actions of general pfnoggnof. He was unable yet to secure passage to Tarakan safely[;)].
