STRATEGIC EVALUATION

BURMA

Status quo. He can bombard me,attack me,but he cannot move me from Moulmein. I have two divisions here and one army HQ. South of Moulmein i have backup of one tank regiment. So,he cant move and i cant move-YET.

MALAYA-DEI

This area is clear of allied scum and secure of any invasion in 1942. He can try but my LBA will decimate anything that sails north of Darwin. So,no imediate treat here. Supply lines is work well and Japan is regulary supplied.
My main training field is here(Sumatra) and this training field is prove to be best so far in any my game.

CHINA

Headache. The worst front. This will change after half a milion alite troops lands at HK,this will be soon. After landings i will push those poor chinese troops all the way north-CHUNGKING.
Idea is,push to Changsha and liberate 6-7 CEA fighting there,and then with 20 divisions push north,he can do nothing to stop this.

PHILLIPINES

This is major stronghold with big ports and airfields everywhere. This will be my main base after retreating in 1943-1944. This will be my last stand later in war. But,it is long time before SHO-GO.

SOUTH-WEST POACIFIC

Major bases builds up,enginers doing all effeorts to prepare warm welcome for invaders in future. Rabaul is turn in major base with huge supply stock. PM is also delivered in big base but i will not be able to hold it long,that base i will use as scouting and delaying. Truk is the biggest stronghold,i have stockpiled 200k supply here and 250k fuel.
First line of defence here will be:
LUNGA-PM with backup in Shortlands and Lae.
This line will be thin and only poor forces will be stationed there.
Main defence line for south-west pacific is:
RABAUL-TRUK with extension on Kwaielien in central pacific. This line will be hold at all cost. Backup bases is also delivered and everything will be ready till 1943.

CENTRAL PACIFIC

Kwaielien is developed in huge airbase and with surrounding attols makes my main defence line. This is close to KB operation area and impregnable.

NORTH PACIFIC

He massing forces on Aleutians.Probably,he will try to invade Attu,but it will not be POSSIBLE becouse KB is near and every attempt of invasion will be loss for him. For now i am safe here.

RUSSIA

Stalemate for now,but everything can change in moment. Russia sucks many of his bombers and fighters so he cant bomb my other bases and interrupt in my plans in China.

JAPAN

Supply is fantastic(i am supply fanboy).Zeros are at 200 per month and i have enough of all kind of planes. KB is almost repaired and retrained to pre-war condition[8D]. This guys will be tough nut.

4000-5000 VPs.I was only counting points after conquest.Maybe little more.

He still bombarding my airports while i must wait BBs.BB fleet will be in Japan in 5 days. Tommorow is scheduled big bombing campaign from four airfields. In six months of war our combine losses of planes is astonishing 6000[X(][X(][X(].

Soon everything will change here after SAA unloads. Approx. 6 days and whole SAA will be in China.

Last days i was thinking a lot what to do with Southern area army.
I told my plan to my friends,both are WITP fanatics. They told me that my china plan is idiotic. I just dont know anymore.

One more thing,this Russian front gives me a great pain becouse he can bombard Japan from Russia.
I can destroy Russia very easy with Southern are army,but that leaves China in problems.
What do you think?

You are dilluting your strike army fighting in two fronts. Clausewitz would be not pleased[:-]

IMHO you have to smash Russia first, and then move to China

If dividing your efforts between Russia and China is good, then dividing your efforts even more must be better.

So you should send part of the Java army to India, part to Australia, part to the South Pacific and maybe a little bit to China. But nothing at all to Russia.

I realize that I am being sarcastic and possibly a little bit cruel. But you have played very well so far and I want to punish your mistake in the forums before Hoepner finds a way to punish them in the game.

Of course it is early so everything can be changed, but fundamentally Bliztk is right.

RUSSIA

Second day in a row my bombers wont fly becouse of bad weather[:(].
Battleship fleet is close to Hiroshima,after old BB fleet unite with group Yamato i will turn Vladivostok to ruins[8D]. West of Vladivostok my troops still fights with some Soviet forts,soon all resistance in this area will be crush.
Operation "Horse jump" going fine[;)].

CHINA

After regrouping all my positions is now secure. Now i can do some delay actions here.

JAPAN

KB is almost repaired,all fighters on KB is around 90 exp. Many DDs recieved upgrades.

OBSERVATIONS

I doing everything to hide and cover operation "Horse jump". I am sure that he has no clue where i going. After this operation i can still have 4-1.

Battleship fleet approaching targets. Today he try to attack my BBs with some 4E from Vladivostok,but destroying poor bases is one thing and attacking heavily armored battleships is other[8D]. He manage to hit Yamashiro with one bomb and force my crew to paint that spot again[:D][:D][:D]. Only real danger is torpedo planes. Its time to kick some a##,10 BBs will do the job[;)].

Operation "Horse jump" going really well,ships approaching main area of operations.

Not really fair to use your Combined fleet against Vladivostok. Just my opinion. Russia has no defense against it that it had historically, except his air units. Should be fun to see how this plays out though....

As you can see,my old bombers do better job then BB flet lead by Raizo Tanaka.
