The Japanese called it Juteki

Model 1189 Heavy grenade discharger, it fired a model 91 fragmantation grenade.

I believe the full Japanese full designation was "Hachikyu Shiki Jutekdarto"

FYI spelling is a bit wrong on the Japanese. Jutekdarto cannot be spellt that way. All consonant sounds (except for n and m) must followed by a vowel.

Hachikyushiki = Type 89
Jutekidanto = Heavy Grenade Launcher
