This is making me nuts! [:@] My closer has 84 stuff, 86 velocity and 85 control. Should be awesome, right? Well, here's his stats through his first 3 appearances this season - IP=2.1, H=9, ER=6, HR=1, L=1, BS=2, and (ready?) an ERA of 23.14!!! All 3 appearances have been with him starting the 9th so none of this has been with any inherited baserunners and he's been 'feeling great' all 3 times. I know there's nothing anyone can say, I just needed to vent. I tried explaining to my wife how much this sucks, but she just looked at me like I was from Mars. [:D] Hmmm, maybe my minor league team needs a pitcher for batting practice! [;)]

Well, it's just 2.1 innings so he has plenty of time to come around. Just threaten to send him to the minors, don't actually do it! [:D]
