Just as well. There is going to be a big Tsunami in about 63 years in Sabang...just when they would have built up to a level 4 airfield.

Dambit Amiral! There is no getting anything past you. [:)] Lord Admiral Hunter ordered me to free up some Hurricanes. I indeed changed them back to Wirraways.

Wing Cmmdr Rhyland, CO, No. 21 RAAF Sqdrn.: <grows visibly angry while reading a letter from Gen. Pownall, antique blood vessels bulging on his forehead. Angrilly rips the letter to shreds. Turns to his XO>

"Bloody, arrogant, Eaton-educated elitist. The Australian military sacrifices at every turn for the good of the 'Commonwealth' and he has the nerve threaten me with Lysanders. I've a mind to pass this up the line. In the meantime, find me that address for that American chap who claimed he could get us some Kittyhawks. M & M Enterprises, wasn't it?"

"Free Press"

Post by Cap Mandrake »

Believe or not, this is genuine. The Editor is actually one of the detainees. I don't know if he was on Uncle Sam's payroll or is just trying to boost everyone's spirits. Remember, this chap just had his business, and likely his property expropriated, then his family was trucked up to a dusty camp with tumbleweeds and primitive facilities in a God-foresaken patch of the Owen's Valley. He seems a pretty forgiving soul.
