Crown of Glory: Europe in the Age of Napoleon, the player controls one of the crowned potentates of Europe in the Napoleonic Era, wielding authority over his nation's military strategy, economic development, diplomatic relations, and social organization. It is a very thorough simulation of the entire Napoleonic Era - spanning from 1799 to 1820, from the dockyards in Lisbon to the frozen wastes of Holy Mother Russia.

leaders disappeared

I put Berthier in the Paris garrison. Last time I ever saw him.
I put some corps container units into garrison. They took french leave too?

Is this a bug or am I missing something. Seems to me I saw an earlier complaint on this too.

There is an interface bug wherein too many units in a small province cause some units not to be displayed. We are working on an interface improvement (an overflow box) to fix this.

In the meantime, try using CTRL+Right-Click on the province to get a list of all the units in the province.
