This one im facing a real experienced opponent Adm .Spruence so i think i will get my ass kicked!![:D]
Any way the Game begun with Japanese Landings in Lingayen and Vigan i totaly forgot about Aparri[:@][:@] , Jolo , Cayagan , Lagaspi , Ambonia , Lunga , Kusching , Brunei , Miri , Tarakan , Kuantan and Khota Bahru and the KB bombed Manila... the initial assaluts proved sucesfoul and all those bases are now under my control[:D][:D] The Wake landing turned into a disaster as US CV's showed up and sloughterd my ships[:@][:@] and the other set back was bombing Singapure... don't know why my Zeros didn't fly as escorts[:@][:@][:@] result was about 30 Nell's shot donw by the AVG[:(][:(][:(] Now im conducting 3 major operation's one in Mersing with the Div that took Khota Bahru... i plan to cut Northern Malaya from the Singapore and let the allies to starve[:D][:D] the secound is landing in Samarinda or something near Belikapapan and the Third is Rabaul Landing... as for my naval forces the KB i split Shokaku and Zuikaku are to remain in the DEI area and meet with the Small CV KB to operate in tandem... and the rest of the KB is to steam to Rabaul... i expect some CV's there in a week or so so i will be ready if Adm. Spruence is up to something in that Area[:D][:D] China front is preaty Stable... if any of you got some suggestion please let me know[:D][:D] any way i got some serius ship production problem i tryed to read the manual but it's not helping... from what i read i stoped Shinano and converted some AK to AR's... as for aircraft producion i swithed Nate's to Oscars and expanded the production and expanded Zero production... togheter with Val's and Kate's when i will have about 100 or so of those two bombers in pool i will halt production to conserve HI[:)]

Tommorow operation RE will comence when a Division will hit the Beaches of Mersing and then dash to Johore Bahru[:D] from what i see Spruence send his troops North so it schuld be a quick Victory, Kuantan is Changed into my CAP base from where mu fighters will fly sweep and escort missions. Division that Took Kuantan is moveing rapidly W to cut of Northern Malaya if Ops RE will fail. Planes from Singapure tryed to hit my 5th CV strike force consisting os Shokaku and Zuikaku

Ok my troop hit the Beaches of Mersing i hope one shock attack will be sufficient to capture the Base and Push for Johore...[:D] My troops also landed in Appari wich wasne't attacked erlier due to my mistake... Kendari will also be hit soon. Rabaul Landings are proceding as planed...[:D] any way not much action this day so i will end my report here[:D]

Ok some strange thing happend last turn i ordered a division in Mersing to shock attack the defenders and guess what happen??? nothing[:@][:@][:@] i don't know why but the attack didn't commenced[:@][:@][:@] this allows Spruence to bring up some reinforcements[:@][:@][:@] other news Samarkanda and Rabaul were captured Today[:D][:D] tommorow i will rebase Nell's from Truk to Rabaul. SSD is preapering for for Operation MO - Invasion of PM[:D][:D] in a day or Two my forces will land in Lemon Bay i hope to force Spruences troops out of Naga[:)] My forces begun unloading in Kendari... sneaky Spruence set up mine fields near the base lucky for me i got some MSW there[:)] My bombers from Formosa are punding Manila and Clark[:D] in Phillipines my forces are moveing to Clark and i captured Appari via naval invasion today... soon 2 para regiments will be transfered to Appari[:)]

why such things happen to me[&:] I even have some ships unloading supply there so no supply problems[;)] ,any way in Kuantan i have a Base Force + Aviation Reg... and soon an Air HQ will be there so i bomb every thing in Range out of Existence[:D][:D] + my another Division is moveing on Kuala Lumpur and he has only one unit there so i will push him out for Sure[:D] In DEI im reinforcing Kendari but i weait for a supply transport to that base and then i will send my planes there[:)] My forces are massing in Samarinda soon i will have two Brigades there and i will go for Belikapapan[:D] My BB's will pay a visit there tommorow[:D] Tarakan will fall quickly as i already Achived 2 to 1 ratio and not all my forces are unloaded yet

Phillipines My first forces arrived at Clark and Davao i don't know why the set themself on a Shock Attack[:@][:@] so i took a some losses but i think i will soon take a good foothold in those Places[:)] And now for the Pacific here after Liberation of the Rabaul are preapering for operation MO as soon as KB will reach Rabaul operation MO will have a green light[:)] Then i will organize some extra forces and Invade Esprito Santo and Numaea and build a strong bases there[:)] im still considering invading Baker and Wake + Midway[:)]

Hi Prz

Two possible explanations to the problems you are meeting:

1) in Mersing, you may have done orders to the part of the div that was ashore (for example 56th Div/1) but the next day the whole Div was ashore and the Div/1 was absorded in the Div main body... that has no orders to attack. The same can happen for moves orders. As for your failure to take the base, I guess your division has no preparation for Mersing, or close to 0, so the landing should have highly disrupted it and so the attack failed, you will have to wait for some days to launch another attack that will have more chances of success. Also use LBA support for your attack.

2) in Clark Field, your troops launched a shock attack because of the river rule. Every unit crossing a river hexside will launch a shock attack in the hex where it arrives, even if friendly units are already in this hex. This was introduced in v1.6 and as usual with WITP prodcues strange result but on the whole slows the land campains and turns the rivers into defensive positions, so is OK to me. You can use the follow orders to be sure your units will cross the river together, or you can use other paths. In Luzon the solution is to go from Lingayen to San Marcelino, there will also be a schock attck because of the river but usually it is far less defended, and then from San Marcelino to Clark.

Ok another bad news[:)] First of All i didn't knew about Chinise Partisans[:(] and gues what all my industry and resources in China are demolished[:(][>:] cool right??? Spruence offered me a cease fire in China to allow me to rebuild what was destroyed by my incompetance...

Next Bad News i lost Houga and Yamashiro... this Gives 4 BB's knocked out as Ise is in Ominamoto reparing and Haruna is in Saigon with high Flt but lucky for me the level is droping. Next Bad news Spruence is Bombing Kuching with like 20 4E and i think about 30 Martins... but the Damage is low...

Ok time for some good news... I spotted some BB's in Numaea i think KB will pay a visit there[:D][:D] Mindanao is almost all mine... as well as Malaya. In Burma my forces are closeing in on Rangon soon i need to Invade Palabang i have a Div ready i need only one more brigade to hit the place[:D] Ohhh and the good news is that Shokaku, Zuikaku butchered a large convoy near Timor[:)]

Due to my error i activated Teleporting Troops Bug[:(] toghter with Spruence we decided to start this Game ageain[:)] he was quite suprised when my Div Teleported Into Tarawa any way i now have 512 MB ram so i can think about making screan shoots i just need to learn how to operate the software[:D] the other issue was that i was unaware of the Chinise Partisans Rule[:(]
