I posted this in "support" but I guess I posted in the wrong place, or didn't say "Simon says" or something. [8|]

Anyone else seeing monster engineer battalions? I currently have a normal engineer battalion - 7th Naval construction, I believe - which has built itself up to over 1000 engineer squads. Several others have hundreds of engineers. I'm using the test patch (1.77, or something) with a recent CHS scenario; however, I've also seen the same problem in War Plan Orange without any mods whatsoever. Everything looks normal in the database.

Isn't this an old problem for some units? Seems to me I've seen similar stuff in the game. I know for sure if you split a division and then recombine it on Pearl (at least this used to be the case) that it will balloon up to ridiculous size. It was possible to keep dividing and recombining the same division several times before it reached its threshold.

This is wild. here's the OOB of the 4th AF Construction -

(3) x 3 IJA Infantry
(747) x 1044 Engineer
(30) x 28 Support

Here's what's really strange - so far the only units that seem to be affected are the units called "# AF Const Bn" and "# Naval Const Bn" Nevermind the fact that the 8th AF Const Bn and the 43rd Const Bn are identical and only one slot away from each other (1422 & 1423) the 8th is corrupt and the 43rd is normal.

ps. I have altered this 1.6 CHM mod somewhat, but none of my alterations should have effected the construction btns or any device, leader, or HQ of any construction unit.

The "super divison" bug has been fixed as of 1.60.

After reducing size of super divisions many engineer squads were freed, and those were combined into super engineer units...
