As i have sometimes reported here and elsewhere, Pompac and i are locked in a titanic struggle in which my pilots (and aircraft) have been decimated. Actually, decimated is probably putting it mildly, as it (originally) implies 1/10 being killed.

As a result, i have been forced to use alternative species in manning my armed forces. Yesterday, he whacked one of my "training" missions, killing just about every pilot on it.

This the only pilot i have left, seen taxing on the runway at Ledo:
