I must agree that the frigate vs privateer rule does not seem to be working. Since the 1.218 came out I have put out frigates to keep the privateers away and they just sit together in the sea area and never engage. I have not yet seen a report as well.

Where do I find the Beta for download?

3.- Diplomats don´t work in way client

Are the diplomats moving, or is it just a problem that the order is resetting to "goodwill"? This is the one bug you reported that we have not been able to duplicate, so we are having a much harder time trying to resolve this issue.

Is anyone else experiencing diplomats' orders resetting in this way in TCP/IP games? I'm trying to ascertain whether there is anything system-specific involved in this.

In my MP game with Garaco the diplomats would move, but they would reset to goodwill orders each turn. He was host.

Still getting the same problem on loading the system crashes on the "y" in copywrite.

:)

Have you tried updating your sound-drivers? The one time I've been able to duplicate the crash you described was on a machine with out of date sound drivers. (Note that Windows didn't think the sound drivers were out of date, which made detecting the problem rather difficult.)

I have Realtek AC97 sound

I've updated it the latest update was in Novemeber of 05.

I've updated the graphics, the monitor....I can't think of anything else that needs updating.

Although I'm up for suggestions.
