Save Birkenhead !

Post by Raverdave »

As some of you may, or indeed may not know, the museum ships at Birkenhead are under threat to be scrapped.

We are trying to raise an international petition and one of the managers has asked me to post everywhere I can think of.

If you would like to add your name to this petition, please email Colin, his email address is Colinbutt9@aol.com

Please take a couple of minutes to send an email of support to the above email address.
Also have a look at the ships that are in danger of being lost forever.

Never argue with an idiot, he will only drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

This would be totally sad. I'm in. Unfortunately it is a little too far off the beaten path forme to financially supporton the odd weekend. Locals need to do more.

G'day mate, hope you and your lovely wife are doing well.

Very distressing about the fleet, I will help out also.

I went to the website, but all I read is that they have to go into liquidation (i.e. bankruptcy). Nothing said about scrapping the ships.

However, I will email your contact for support too.
So much WitP and so little time to play.... :-(

They (most likely accountants) presumely want to scrap the ships in order to pay off debts.
