Well belive it or not .. leader bug sorted out by the re-loading of turns and a lot of luck i think..

So how did the great allied surface wave go intercepting the japanese flood? well badly to be honest POW found a jap CA and missed .. CL Danea was clobbered in the engagement and the japs have flooded into the DEI like a big tsunami.

Japanese victories on land are numerous and very rapid as can bee seen by the piccie.

As i am about to begin a new game with 2nd ACR i may be running 2 AAR's so i'll keep use less detail and focus on critical areas.

Im sure he would KD .. BUT .. next turn 4/5th of japanese leaders dispeared (again) .. he sent me the file and his password, and while i havnt looked as i trust the chap its rather frustrating.

So Lazarus returned from the grave to be hit by a truck on the way out of the cemetary [;)]..

SO 1.8 it is and we will restart. As both of us prefer to play from 7th Dec we'll do that rather than a may start. As from your game the allied setup looks awful ! and japanese production is a complete mess too. So i always think its best to start from the beginning. As an allied player i actually like dec 41. YES you will lose a lot but its fun trying to fight back in smaller ways and i somewhat like being the underdog to will return with a vengance later on [;)] > I am also a Royal Navy fanboy [;)]

As you say Miller has leart a LOT from our previous outing and i suspect he'll learn a great deal more from your game. I love a challenge [:D]

Little old me in the meantime will be playing 2ndACR in a new dec 7th start. Now that will be interesting , as i consider him to be of the old school here and a damn fine opponent. lets hope that our game remains bug free ( we are using the latest betas ).

well so ends this game .. may she rest in peace untill we try for a new one [;)]

odd....apparantly that game must have been corrupted. A shame. Given 1.8's timeframe, i'd still suggest maybe a clean restart.

Oh i have spilled the beans. However the beans regrettably say "1.8 could be a ways off" It all depends on when Mike can shed some time away from WiE and revisit those pesky Houdini bugs that are plaguing the current beta still. thats why i wince when people say, "i'll wait for 1.8" You might be waiting a bit. Remember my "original" plan was to release 5.0 to coincide with the new patch, but given the potential time frame, figured it was better to release with the beta and allow people to dig in.

There's always the 42A version. I'm having a blast......hmmm...maybe poor choice of words given what happened to my four CV's and a BB........
