Performance based?

In FB Pro a running back's speed attribute correlated to his rushing yards even if he didn't have great speed, will MaxFB be the same or could an upper tier RB like Curtis Martin who has great intelligence and above average strength still excel with average speed and agility?

Players speeds skills are simply the maximum speed they can run.

On kickoff returns and punt returns, does a player's catch have to be high or can it be moderate since the catch attribute really pertains to catching a pass? In other words a sure handed, elite KO returner may only be the 5th WR on his team since his catch attribute isn't high enough, but its good enough to field a kickoff or punt?
