Hex Selection

Post by d82 »

In playing the Clash of Titans scenario and choosing a destination hex for a task force, on occassion, the destination registered for the task force is different from the hex clicked with the mouse. The difference is typically one hex to the right and about a half a dozen hexes below that intended. Re-selection typically cures this but it happens fairly regularly during play. Is this a known issue?

It has (at least to my knowledge) never been reported. Does it happen when you click anywhere? I have the feeling that since it is a small map scenario, you are clicking on the map edge and that is causing it.

Does it happen in the full map scenarios (All scens but 3 and 4)?

It happened to me too sometimes...

I didn't give it much importance, but I think (but not sure) that it happens when you click on a TF icon on the hex you wanted to move to.

Selection issue happens in middle of the small map and not simply at the edges of the map. For Clash scenario, it has happened around Formosa, open ocean, etc. Re: Pkunzipper's post - it happens in empty as well as occupied hexes. Haven't played much full map scenario yet.

There does appear to be a bit of a map shift (up-down on the screen, less than a hex shift) when it occurs as the screen refreshes showing the intended task force path to the destination.

Agree it is not a killer - just a curious effect.
