Well given amount of strategic reserves and not commited airforce + its exp level I would be happy to see direct invasion on home islands in early 43
by this time china wil be wiped out and these elements of kwantung army which are bought out will join reserves - i stripped kwantung of tanks artillery and engineers

Raver's Counterattack

Post by Capt. Harlock »

It won't be happening that early -- Raver is a lad who takes his time. I think you gave up a little too much when you agreed to ignore the auto-victory: it has allowed Raver to ignore the point count, and accept the loss of China.
Civil war? What does that mean? Is there any foreign war? Isn't every war fought between men, between brothers?

I don't understand what you mean
starting assumption was I will try to fight as long as I can
most of my enemies dropped their games in 3-4/42 after beating I gave them and I want to play once more a bit longer

I'am with Sneer. I have 2 PBEM's ongoing and actually I really hope that both of these games will continue to the end regardless of "auto-victory".

The idea is to play for fun and to get most out of Witp it is best to play to the end.

Geez. 14k naval shipyard points! I'd accelerate some ships.
Hiyo Junyo Shoho and Yamato finished
I don't care about accelerating Musashi
so all points will go into carriers
Shinano Oyodo and short+ medium range subs are halted

What about accelerating some DDs?

soon Unryu class CVs will be in range for acceleration - it is real target
I have lost only 1 DD by now so no need to accelerate them now

It's too bad that Raver had his bombers so high - at 6K feet they would have likely trippled the hits. [;)]

BTW - where in the world did you find 249 Oscars to put together, and how did you fit them all on an airfield...? [:D]

03/07/42
again I forgot to include points situation for first July
Raver plays favourites toys of every allied commander
150 wellingtons in india
300 fortresses in Darwin
there is little sense it static defence for me as it often goes to numbers game
I have had quite a good successes in flexible cap adjustment and this will be probably my tactics till late war
I could more or less cover now my frontline bases but losses in oscars would be too high and all of them are exp 75+ now so Raver have one month unless he meets Tony/Tojo in action
Side with initiative always needs less force to strike hard , and when sb has initiative and numbers advantage it is always painful to second side
