With a couple exceptions, we seem to be both resting & gathering our strength.
WEST COAST
Both major ship & ground reinforcements have now arrived. I converted 12 AKs to ARs (5), ADs (3), ASs(2), and MLEs (2). I'd like to get a few more in the pipeline but need to keep supplies moving too.

The surface combat TF is on its way to refuel at Pago Pago and then will head north to support the invasion of Canton Island.
I've also now landed a BF (from South Island, NZ) at Norfolk Island & have a squadron of Catalinas there. They report a lot of shipping near Noumea. I think he's reinforcing.

I suspect Kendari is the next target. I'm trying to mine it heavily & have moved force Z closer. See picture below.
PHIL
My 2 tank batallions at Aparri succumbed yesterday. [:(] I at least got Pat to divert some assets for a little while.

He's started to bomb my shipping (carrying supplies) at Rangoon & Moulmein from Bangkok. I currently have 3 B-17 squadrons at Calcutta, on ground attack (when the weather's good). I'm considering sending some aviation support to Rangoon, then basing the B-17s there to bomb the airfield at Bangkok.
