AI difficulty?

Post by zuikaku »

What does it means? More supplies for the AI? More accurate guns? Deadlier planes for the AI? Or is it only applies on the intelligence of AI?
After I se AI diff. to very hard, Mohawks and Buffallos are slaugtering my A6M2 daitais?
So, it seems to me, that by increasing difficulty, AI gets some strange bonuses. i only wanted to react better to my moves

More reinforcements for the AI, double on very hard i think, and the AI gets to peek at your orders. On hard the AI gets an occasional peek or two, but on very hard it gets to watch all the time.

anyway,
is it still true with our last patches, that a kicked US AI in 41-42 will stay schoked and will never attack back in 43-44?

Thanks! So, basically, It's more or less useless.
AI will still send unescorted CVs from SF to Australia, and transports into range of my land based bombers. Some of these stuff could been eliminated after all these patches. I know, it's very hard to mess up with the code, but, some script on how TF's are to be created, and which areas they must avoid can't be such a big programming effort! Or, am I wrong??? [8|]

You would think but it seems they're more interested in the PBEM code and tend to leave us solo players fend for ourselves.

AI seems to have gotten better in recent patches. Hadn't played against the AI in about 6 months and it seems to have learned some new tricks. Twice as the Allies it pulled off open sea intercepts of my troop convoys and wreaked havoc. In China it keeps slipping units behind me and cutting my supply lines.

I am still winning by 5:1 in June 42 but it seems harder this time around. I will go back to PBEM when the patch comes out if I can find an opponant who isn't house rule happy and won't disappear when things look bad.
