Wau base not present in AB's extended map 5.0?

Hello everyone again,

I downloaded the new Andrew Brown's extended map v.5.0 (great artistic work, by the way! [:)]) and I was quite surprised.

From what I read on these forums, the Wau base (in New Guinea) was supposed to be included on the new map.

The fact is: the name of the base (Wau) is there. A new trail (between Wau and Lae) is also present, but no dot on the hex: no base. Did Andrew forget to add this base on the extended map? Did I do something wrong when I installed the thing? Anyone having this same "problem"? Or even better: anyone downloaded the extended map and has the Wau base?

I have yet to download the new map but the base info would be included in the scenario file and not the art file.

Correct, Treespider. So we will have to download a modified scenario (I missed this one: it was quite obvious though, I have to admit it [:)]). I just hope we will not have to restart our games [:(]

As always, if you want the new bases, you need to start a new game. There is nothing I can do about that.

I have DLed the standard 5.0 map from Spooky's as well as the scenario 154 v1.06 from Andrew's site, started a new game - and have no Wau base either. The name is there but no base icon, not even a beach dot. I assume I need an updated scenario version - but where can I find it?

Furthermore, I have read about a number of OOB errors and an upcoming new version of CHS - any date for the revised version? I'm asking because I want to go PBEM, but I would wait if the new version is near.

Sorry - I am still working on them. Been held up again, but they should be updated in a few days time (fingers crossed).

Sadly no date yet. It will be a while. I have neglected CHs while I have been working on getting this map update completed. Hopefully there will be some clearer news on CHS soon...
