Das Reich crashes game?

Well, after checking into the New Forum members thread and finding out how to install campaigns, I downloaded the Das Reich campaign and unzipped it into the Campaigns folder, as per instruction.

I start up SPWaW. It gets through the two starting clips showing the developers name. Then it crashes. A breakpoint has been reached, evidently. Has this happened to anyone else? Maybe I should just reinstall the game, I still have the original files and patches.

Reinstall Das Reich. It is not supposed to do that. If it happens again, delete the Steel.prf file out of the SAVE directory and if that doesn't work, reinstall SP.

Oh well. I suppose I'll simply reinstall the game, it's not that big of a deal.

Try running the game from the mech.exe file, not the main game menu window. It may be problem your comp has with the vid files.

Game fixed. I ended up renistalling, but somehow all my downloaded campaigns and save games were still there [&:]

But hey, I'm not complaining. Thanks for your help, I'm sure you'll be seeing me around the forums more. (And if I get my hot little hands on Korsun Pocket, I'll be chilling on those forums too.)
