There are transportation net (trail/road/rail) changes in China between the map and earlier verions.
Here is a list of the changes:
[ol]
[*]The map has been redrawn in a new style, with softer boundaries between the land and sea, and between shallow and deep water.
[*]Okayama base in Japan now remains at Okayama (62,41), with Maizuru being merged with Kyoto (63,41). This base - Maizuru/Kyoto - is now a major port. This base revision also means that the Japanese coastline in the area has been "remodelled": Oyama now adjoins the Inland Sea.
[*]Ichang (47,34) is now connected by trail to Changsha (45,37) - it was not able to be supplied when owned by the Allied side in previous map versions.
[*]A trail now connects Hankow (48,35) and Anking (49,37).
[*]The Yangtse River in China is now navigable as far as Nanking (51,37). In addition, the road joining Soochow (52,38) with the hex to the Northeast (52,37) has been removed, as there were no bridges across the Yangste River below Nanking.
[*]The trail between Port Moresby and Lae has been removed.
[*]The trails near Lae have been modified to allow for the addition of Wau (55,90).
[*]Several base names have been changed on the map. See scenario notes for details.
[*]The malaria zone borders have been modified to match the modifications made to the zone in patch 1.7+.
[*]Hex 135,39 on the Olympic Peninsula, West of Seattle, has been made a mountain hex.

As mentioned, base changes do NOT occur for existing games. Terrain changes DO affect existing games.
I am still working on the scenario updates but making progress...
