Ship not repairing

I have a BB at Mare Island which is the only ship there with sys damage. Supplies are over 900K and ship repair points show 1107. However the BB has been stuck on 12 sys damage for a week now.

I have a save - but not for Terminus[;)]

It's failed the dice roll for repair; simple as that. If you've got any repair ships available, move it there.

How long before it takes another repair dice roll or are you saying it is stuck until I do something else?

Repair ships and Naval Hqs (not sure if any in WPO) help with repairs.

Also if there are other ships repairing at the same base, they can be stealing the good dice rolls.

I tend to distribute ships with lesser repairs (like on AK/DD/CL/SS/etc) to the smaller repair yards.

Repair point usage is based on a ship's durability. So it makes sense to move any smaller ships to other bases to soak up their repair points, and leave the big base for the massive jobs.

Are two AR's in a port better than one?
Please explain how the system works; ie. does one AR get one chance to repair one ship per repair phase or does the AR die roll for every ship needing repair at that port?

Does this system apply to AD, AE and AS too?

I understand that up to 4 ARs can help repair. Same with AD,AS.

Do not know specific details of the repair system.
