Allied Opponent Wanted

Post by bspanzer »

I am looking for an Allied Opponent for Scenario 15

I have started my first PBEM, and have been really enjoying it, and I am looking for another battle.

I am patched to 1.60
PDU Off-or on with restrictions
surprise on
historical turn 1 off
Allies no moves turn 1 except for China
Max Ships per ASW is 6

I am generally a Historical Style player who is looking for another player who plays the same style.

If interested please e-mail me at lynch80188@yahoo.com

Huh???

1 - "historical turn 1 off , Allies no moves turn 1 except for China"

2 - "I am generally a Historical Style player who is looking for another player who plays the same style."

Okay, let me understand you here; you are looking for a "historical style" opponent, but you want the non-historical start that allows the Japanese to whack "everything, everywhere", and you want your Allied opponent to just sit and take it...

What's so "historical" about that? Are you going to leave the Japanese production to "historical settings" and not change your mix of planes, ships etc?

If you want the Allies to be "road kill", why don't you just come out and say so?

Hmmmmmmmmmm, I just started a game as Allies with those 'house' rules. I just told my opponent that whatever he did he could expect to receive back later. [:D]

Dave,

It's is historical style of play, not trying to match 100% historical accuracy. I don't think the Japanese first move should be abused, I actually scale back my landings from scenario 15 has set up to only two or three bases that could be reached without the move bonus. Historical style of play to me means not taking advantage of the game flaws & loopholes just because the game allows you too. Not over-stacking airbases with too many air units. Not upgrading 2E bombers groups to 4E unless it actually did. Trying to keep the game within reason, I am looking for a player who similar style, who will enjoy the game each turn, and isn't just a win at any costs player.

Sorry for the mis-understanding.
