Transporting Aircraft

Post by Layer »

I have seen mentioned on several threads that aircraft can be loaded onto AKs and moved to other bases. I can't seem to be able to do this. Could someone tell me how please. Thanks.

You must first check that HQ to which is assigned the airgroup is not static!

If the HQ is a deployable one then you should be able to load it on AKs as you would do with a normal land unit! [;)]

For example most allied aircraft on the West Coast are assigned to Nine Corps. Nine Corps is not a deployable HQ so you would need to go into the unit and change the HQ to a deployable one such Nine Corps Hawaii. You would need to have enought Political Points to make the change. Of course most of the ground forces start off in Nine Corps so it is a trade off whether you move aircraft or save them up so you can move ground reinforcements.
