What gives it away, yes many years ago in the R.A.N

It is the Flottenbegleiter F7 (1938) German Escort Ship.

Captured by the Soviets, renamed the Buran in 1945 & again in 1947 to the Dubna.
It served in the Baltic from 1945 - 1955.
Scraped 1957/58
