Now that was a battle

Post by Hard Sarge »

I as France own most of the land mass

I had already landed and defeated the English, but they gave up

as the war is closing to an End (I over 9000 points) I figured to go out in style and take over the English

I land Armies in London, Kent and Welch (?) and then send some fleets back for the 2nd landing group

major battles are had and I drive all the England out of London

my 2nd Armies land (2 provinces up from London, I not sure which it is)

which means, there is some 300,000 English troops between my Armies (and nowhere to go but battle)

the next month, my troops move, one Army fromt he north (had to leave a Corp behind to cover the backside) and the It Army from the south

ends up a major battle is brewing, 283,000 English vs 276,000 (well, not many French, but Fins and It's galore, with some Dutch and Saxony added for support)

very nice long bloody battle, some 56,000 English are lost

But...

they got nowhere to go

31 Div's are POW'ed (about 5 are disbanded after the battle due to low numbers) but I end up with 163,000 POW's

England don't stand a chance when the Fins and It's gang up on them
