Also. Does physical copy also give you right to download the game?

It's cool to see all the excitement for Distant Worlds. But just a gentle reminder to all to keep it friendly - no personal insults.

Don't worry that we're rushing DW out the door, or delaying it indefinitely on the other hand. It'll be here real soon... [;)]

Screw the alien artwork.  Just put the game out now and give us the artwork in an update when it's ready.

Just wanted to say thanks to the Dev team for posting a release date at all. Most companies shy away from doing so because there is always a percentage of forum citizens waiting to beat them over the head with the prediction if even the slightest thing goes awry.

Tippin' my hat to the team with the guts to take the chance and publish an actual release date vs a vague reference to "soon".

You are truly the exception and I for one appreciate it.

You can only order it here from Matrix.

IIRC, the last game I ordered a hard copy of took about 3 days to get to me.

Good Hunting.

I usually order both the digital DL and the hard copy. You can start playing the day it releases and about 3 days after you order you get your hardcopy. Works out well for me.

Personally I say thank god for digital copies, I simply don't have enough space to keep buying games in physical form these days.

CD's take up very little room. I like having the physical hard copy if anything goes wrong.

I have an idea!!!

Here we go, I think you'll like and the devs will definitely go for it!

Release the digital version NOW!!! With or without the new artwork. When the artwork is done just patch it. Meanwhile, don't send the physical copies out until the artwork is finished. Problem solved, everyone happy![:'(]

I always get digital only and burn a copy to disc along with the serial. I have my copy and I saved a couple bucks. [:)]
