The German advance continues.
The Italians sink the Renown.
U-boats sink the Prince of Wales. At least 4 u-boats
spotted in Norwegian water. The Italians are now
secondary, all available units go to protect the supplies
to Russia.

India researches Amphibious Warfare.

China can only affords a few minor reinforcements.

The US is at 51% activation. It researches ASW and Amphibious Warfare.

The UK keeps repairing and upgrading its fleet. Task Force Norway withdraws,
at the moment German raiders rule the Arctic Convoy Route. A couple of u-boats
take some damage off Bergen.

We need to conclude operations in Libya ASAP. Four refitted naval
units including the King George V is on their way back from India.
Estimated remaining Italian forces: 2 corps, 2 HQ, 1 garrison.
Navy: 2 or 3 subs, 2 BB, 1 CA, 1 MT, and more.

The Soviets rebuild 2 corps and an army. There isn't much left to stop
the Axis except perhaps the weather?

Two armies are caught in a bad position near Smolensk.
A really bad move by me.

USSR tech is finally starting to come online. We get Infantry Weapons 2
and Command and Control 1.

Rain is here. A panzer units eliminates our anti-tank!
The Italian navy sinks the Kent CA, but at heavy cost.
A Japanese AVL is spotted south-east of Ceylon, where are they
headed?

China keeps the delay tactics going.

In Europe it is international u-boat hunting month. One is severley damaged right off the coast of the UK,
another in the Norwegian Sea. The Salmon submarine inflicts 2 step losses on the CC Scharnhorst in the far north.

Sadly at least 4 other u-boats are operating freely in the North Atlantic. The Canadian trade is a complete loss this
month, and the Arctic route to the Soviets is heavily reduced despite our efforts.

The UK economy is not very strong at the moment, they can just afford an escort carrier.

The Soviets now have infantry weapons 2, but deploying them is another matter.
We make local counter-attacks to keep their panzers weak near Rostov.

A single corps is rebuilt, it's all we can afford.

The Soviets do not want to stockpile resources for Leningrad, but are
still deducted 35 MPPs... those were sorely needed.

Germany keeps attacking in Russia despite the bad weather.
A British DD is sunk by strong German naval forces off Denmark.

India buys a corps and upgrades units. China keeps delaying.

The US researches Anti-Aircraft Defense.

Bad weather halts most ASW operations. We score 2 hits on one between
the UK and Denmark and our naval bomber scores a hit on a BB in harbour.
All income goes to fleet repairs.

Libya is on its last legs. The Italian navy fights doggedly.

In hindsight, you think the second one would make a difference? Or is it not worth it in this patch, when eng comes much earlier?

Well with hindsight I would have placed my defenses much further back. I should have known that against zzmzzm a semi-forward delaying
defense is a bad idea. I got very little use out of the forts I did build. So I suppose yes, build an extra engineer very early and
have it dig lines right in front of Leningrad and Moscow. In the south I would have placed all my forts no further west than Rostov.
I think I got overconfident from other games where the Axis player wasn't this adept at blitzkreig.

At this point I have no chance of defending the Caucasus. Indeed just stopping the USSR from collapsing will be hard enough.

USA researches Advanced Fighters and Logistics. US tech is
looking really good, very soon we will start mass production.
In fact let's start right now with our first tank unit.

Tripoli is falling. The Allied fleet heads for home waters.

The UK invests in Industrial Technology. As usual, the fleet
is being repaired and upgraded. A very large fleet even including
a CV in sent north.

The Finnish port of Petsamo is annoying as it allows the Axis
to resupply.
