India turn 1: Cancel research in Advanced Tanks, Long Range Aircraft and Artillery Weapons. Save the MPPs for later.
China: Cancel Fighter Research. The engineer sprints south and starts a 3-side fort (see image). Fighter unit disbands.
Start withdrawal in the north, sending massive reinforcements to the south. Invest in Infantry Weapons research.
Finally reinforce some frontline units.
Poland makes a few desultory attacks but mostly it's about not giving Germany experience or national morale.
The Soviets leave research alone (I usually cancel some research to focus on infantry but let's try something new).
A tank and cavalry unit start a long long march from the east. Other units start moving (will show at a later date).
The UK cancels Heavy Bomber research and invests in Infantry Warfare.
Allied naval units deploy with the following objectives:
* Hunt u-boats
* Raid Norway coast
* Prevent Italian units leaving the Med (one CL already did)
* French units concentrate in the Med
* UK units prevent attack on England and Egypt
Poland surrenders, China loses another corps near Changsha.
India invests 2 diplomacy chits in the Soviet Union. Expensive but hopefully it pays off.
China goes on the offensive at Nanning and scores some victories. A new corps is formed near Changsha.
They invest in Infantry Warfare and the remaining units are brought up to full strength.
France buys 2 garrisons and reinforces infantry units.
The UK researches Anti-submarine Warfare. Some naval units go hunting a sub raiding the Canadian supply routes.
The Cyprus garrison heads for the UK. Infantry forces in Egypt are brought to full strength.
China loses another corps at Changsha. South Africa joins the war.
The winter war begins.
India invests in Industrial Technology to increase its contribution to the UK war effort.
China deploys a corps near Yanku. Surprisingly the Japanese are attacking in the north.
Two destroyed corps are being rebuilt. Understrength units are reinforced.
The Deutchland damages a destroyer off Canada. The Admiral Graf Spee runs into the Cumberland at Capetown and takes minor damage.
A Chinese corps is almost eliminated at Changsha. Partisans occupy Amoy.
India invests in Industrial Technology.
China counterattacks and liberates Canton. The partisans in Amoy inflict massive casualties on an embarked Japanese corps.
China also invests in Anti-Aircraft Defense and reinforces units.
Great read, thank you. I have a question concerning your setup in France. It seems like when your front is breached, there will be nothing except Paris. I can't see it last past May-June, except very bad weather. Do you feel that fighting for France is not worth it? BEF also looks ready to GTFO after first shots [:)] I ask, because there is a post on this forum in AAR section concerning battle of France, where more proactive strategy is described. It is against an AI though.
I don't know if you can answer these questions, is your oponent allowed to read/comment?
