Looking at it I must say, It's psychologically extremely hard to play Allies in this game. You take such a beating, way bigger in real life and in theaters you wouldn't expect to. And you probalby have one chance to change it whole game, if Axis parries your invasion, then it's GG.
There was an argument on this forum, that Axis should be weaker, but their in game performance should be measured against real life events, e.g if they don't lose Berlin before V 1945 it's an accomplishement. But game would have to be reworked to make it viable.
I wouldn't be so sure of this

1) Poland/LowCountries/France: Against an average player, not much you can do to stop it.
2) Fighting Wolfpack of U-boats: Royal Navy and suicide French can certainly battle against (and vs Italians)
3) The Rommel + Super Tank in Egypt, yes, this can be demoralizing.
4) Russia, yeah, you're gonna get pounded. But you won't lose everything, Winter is your friend.
The toughest part play the Allies, you gotta have some decent supply for ground battles. You cannot expect to blast Nazis on their dirt of the Earth w/o supply and their experience. The American dollar bill will change things.
Keep your chin up, kid.
