Hello Guys,

Yes, the first time i never play a scenario just for fun.
Sorting out the bugs is important yet.
If we would play this as a competition i would have to stop the game with the disadvantage i have now.
Only one freighter and no PP´s in the first turn to create units.

Hope we´ll find some more stuff as soon as the first fights start, so Mathew can upload an updated version.

Ah yes, i sent my first turn finally [:)]

Seille, if you want I can send you 20PP at the start of my turn to make it fairer. You already have the supplies so it would then be just the 1 frieghter you were missing and they are cheap as chips. Our side would then be 20PP down but I would have 2 freighters.

Hope that's okay? I'm sure you can handle yourself an AT vet like you....

Turn 2 to Klingoffs....
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"

Thanks Bulldog. As i said i don´t see that first game as real competition.
Pure test if all thing swork as you want.
I think i´ll send back 10 PP since in turn 2 the production of turn 1 and 2 should arrive.
For the missing freighter and the fact i was not able to create units in turn one i´ll take the 10 PP :)

By the way guys seille and myself have noticed a few flaws in the game which I have corrected and put an updated version on the AT community site. These are only minor changes so I'm not sure if you all want to start again? I really don't mind as we are only on turn 3. Here are the changes for version 1.20: 1/  Deleted the unused loctypes.2/  Added research level I so people can see what the existing model is.3/  There was a graphic glitch as space hexes were a little big which caused a change in the hex borders. 4/  Fighters have slightly less range5/  Capital ships have slightly more range.6/  Players can give 10 PP instead of 20 which was felt too much.7/  Womulans now start with 2 freighters, like the other races which makes it fairer.8/  Fixed an error which made Domino Ground force cards be added on top of others every turn. 9/  Nebulae take more movement to get through. 10/ Klingon Starbases start at 4000 structural points instead of 2500, like the other races. Happy gaming [:)].

turn 3 sent to bulldog. I also sent the 20PP back.
Imho we should continue for a while to get some combat results.

But we can also restart yet and do the fights in the next game.

I´m waiting and waiting and waiting...
Is that low speed normal ?

Maybe we should start a 2 player game to get faster results, Bulldog.
Both playing two empires. Tell me if you could do this.

Now i know why i never joined these 5-9 player games. I´m not patient enough to wait several days (or weeks)
for a new turn. Some of my opponents know that...

I already have 7 PBM's on the go at the moment, trying to check some of the sandbox scenarios and also build a new counter set at the moment so although I would love to start another PMB I just don't have the time. I also have a full time job, 2 kids and a nagging wife to reduce my AT hours [:D].  Thanks for the invite but I must decline. Sorry Seille. I know it is frustrating waiting, I have 3 Diplomacy games on the go which I am just waiting for turns for between 2-3 weeks, sigh [>:]. I agree the best games are 1 vs 1, my favorites have been Europe1939 and the Great War which are both 2 player. BULLDOG

No problem. It was just a idea. Fortunately i have still other games (2 player...) to run.

I´m used to the fast speed i had with Vic and Tweber when we tested new scenarios [:)]
But maybe the easter weekend is the reason. Not the right time to play wargames....

Turn 4 to Klingoffs.... more bombings... oh and keep your fighters out of my space! [:D]

Sorry for the delay folks. I got sent out of town early Sunday morning and am now in New Mexico working at the bottom of a salt mine for a week. Turns might be slow until after March 31. (Also applies to my other PBEM games for whomever is reading...

No problem Barthheart. By the way guys (especially Seille), I have fixed the bug where the Womulans were not getting production on turn 1. Basicially I had not put the location as womulan regime when designing the map so it was 'uncharted territory'. Vic realised the error and I have now fixed it. version 1.3 is now up. We could start again if you want to? Don't mind.

I knew Vic would find it [:)]
He´s a master in catching those problems.

Good it is fixed yet. Unfortunately i did not get a new turn since more than a week.
Against other players i finished complete russia 1941 scenarios in this time....

For a real test with fast results i think it is better we start this as a 2 player game.

Hi Guys,

I'm back for a week then away again for a week so it will be slow again then. As for starting again, why don't we continue as not much has happened to test balance etc.

I´m still waiting for the next turn. I think Delyn must have the turn since you wrote you sent, Bartheart.
If this is the normal speed in a 4 player game this is my first and my last.
I already forgot how the map and my ships look.....
