Well, army unit scale. Bob Cross' Soviet Union 1941 is not actually that different in scale, but he put about 100 times more work into it and it is probably the most realistic scenario covering that campaign.

For his own amusement, Ben Turner/Golden Delicious once did a scenario of the Eastern Front along these lines. Each unit was an army group, and the map was ten hexes wide or something. It actually worked pretty well.

Sounds like the rail guns should be taken out of the scenario. They don't add much at this scale.

Kind of you, Ben. I'm playtesting version 2 as we speak. And creating another analysis-type AAR, like I did for France 1944 & Germany 1945. Expect it posted in another month or so. It should be interesting.
