This sequel to the award-winning Crown of Glory takes Napoleonic Grand Strategy to a whole new level. This represents a complete overhaul of the original release, including countless improvements and innovations ranging from detailed Naval combat and brigade-level Land combat to an improved AI, unit upgrades, a more detailed Strategic Map and a new simplified Economy option. More historical AND more fun than the original!
France is producing 275 food (see top right). And it shows +275 on the status bar (bottom left).
Now, maybe there's a problem with the display of one or the other on turns after the first, e.g., there may be a delay of some kind, but I doubt that its as large as you say, HS. I'm sure it's supposed to be what you're producing, in any case.

I have no idea how Prussia lost Berlin and still existed. I just moved an army in, drove the Prussians out and whamo! The next turn it was mine. No siege, no nuthin'.
Curious.

One...the option someone pointed out above of clicking the resources on the main page at the bottom...it either doesn't work on food, or doesn't work on an item in the red. I've just tried it, and I did not get the numbers to show the + or - figure when clicking on the food (which was in the red)...however, the numbers did change when I clicked any of the other resources...bug.
Second, seriously guys...I cannot believe it didn't cross anyones mind to put totals at the bottom of the "spreadsheets". In the Economy tab, there are several sections showing usage income etc...there are no totals at the bottom of these...for example, Income By Province. I have to tally them all up to find the total.
Whilst I'm on the subject, I'm still really confused about these reports. They do not tally.
Taking food, again as an example, bad or good...
Income by Province is 39
Income Report for Sweden shows 35
National Adjustment Table for development shows 18
Import/Export Report shows export of -13
Food Report shows population using -17
Food Report on the Supply tab shows units using -24
When I right click on a resource on the main page to show what effect there is on food, it says -1.
Now, if I ignore the 39 (Income by Province) and add the 35 and 18, I get 53 total income. If I add the negatives together, I get -54 being used which, when taken away from each other is -1...tadaaaaaa.
But where is the figure 39 coming from and why is it different to the Income Report for Sweden? And why is the difference between the two not affecting the overall figure?
Really, guys, you shouldn't have to do all this to work out what's happening with your resources. I was there for ages trying to work these figures out and they still don't add up?
After the benchmark that was Forge of Freedom, I'm very surprised at this seemingly minor yet annoying oversight.
all I can really say is, I am the HW and taking over all of Europe guy, Ecc is not my strong suit or the area, I spent alot of time with, other then making it work for me
I know enough to try and help or point to what screen may be of help
Yes, that's cool Sarge. But as Sweden, there's precious little to do apart from deal with economy...which is why I choose Sweden in the first place, to learn about the economy side.
I could've just as easily jumped into the UK and not really given a stuff about the economy save for making sure I had enough for my production and army. But I wanted to take it slow and learn the game, and the first stumbling block is the advanced economy does leave some reporting issues incomplete.
I did notice, with regard to looking at the bottom of the main screen...I was thinking I had to click on a resource to change the numbers...you can actually click anywhere on the bottom row and the numbers will change...except on the food icon. Typical the one I wanted to try was where the bug lay waiting!
Anyway, the most important thing is I can see + and - figures with regard to my economy...I would still like to see totals below each report and also a report showing an overview of produced/imported/exported and used.
Anyway, I'm finished with the thread. If WCS add some totals and an extra report, I'll be a happy chappy. If not, well...I've asked.
The problem some are having with the figures not matching may be that the province development screen includes provinces that are in unrest in your totals. Maybe the bottom bar doesn't include them?
