ABDA forces have been ordered to ship out of Bandjarmasin and head for Soerebaja, and today the ships set sail...It was in reality one day too late...

PoW does not manage to engage the enemy, so nothing really happens this turn. And the British still have a presence in the China area.

Today we spot a new Japanese surface TF in the NEI, or is it the same? Reports claim two battleships in this one, and my nerves overrode my brain...

Remember the unidentified TF on Dec 17th?
I sure as H*** did not [8|]
And it was indeed the Kido Butai, and its purpose? Carrier hunting.
It got brutal.

Well, to my surprise and Walloc's frustration no further attacks were launched by the Kido Butai today, however it does not matter as a Japanese sub scored another hit on her early in the day. Lady Lex is afloat, but will it last?

The bad news first, Lady Lex succumbs to her wounds today.
Close to Christmas we decide to show the Japanese that they are not getting anything from us, they will have to take it by force. I have been gathering forces at Rabaul, both ground forces and naval forces. Yesterday a surface TF was spotted, and my guess was that Walloc had spotted my transport TF. At this point my surface vessels were docked.
The ships were assembled yesterday and a commander carefully chosen. Unfortunately more surface vessels arrived at Rabaul today, just too late to take part in the battle.
