Hi,

Thanks for the speedy issue of the hotfix.

I've just loaded the patch and rerun an old move. This used the 12/8/41 move after entry of both sets of orders after a historic start of scenario 1. Pre patch Tokyo had 998999 after the combat was run. Post patch it is 1,000,096. Has the patch just allowed greater quantities to be held? Will players still need to control the draw of supplies to/from other bases?

Any guidance would be helpful.

John
According to BigJ62
New limit is 99,999,9999 for all types and supply and resource can pile up to to 99,999,999, anyone that exceeds this limit doesn't really have any problems. Oil and fuel will no longer be deleted when above 999,999 but most of the time if the recieving base is at that limit then it just won't be sent to that base, it may pile up at the sending base or it may go to some other really big base but once again any excess will not be deleted.

Thanks very much for these fixes guys. I'm very grateful for all the hard work that you've put in, especially post-release.

For an existing PBEM, can both players just apply the hotfix? Or should we use the same procedure as with the big patch (Japan sends replay, Allies run it, Japan installs patch, etc.)?

Hmm, I just applied the patch (I think). I started the game and it shows version 1.02.1095. Did I not do something right?

You did something wrong Mike. You should just unzip the download into your main Witp folder and answer yes to overwrite the two files.

I still have a question about the patch, do you need to restart your game, or can you continue from a save?

Btw, the customer support at Matrix has always been the best. Who releases patches on a Friday night? Amazing!

There's a display problem with the dialog used to create TFs. The first and second entries in the from window are overlaid. This suggests a fencepost error.

I can confirm Herwin's text overlay problem at the TF creation screen.

03. Added terrain and fort effects against artillery attacks.

04. Artillery when used offensively use 2x amount of supplies.

11. Adjust ASW/Escort/Submarine attack issue.

Excellent.

Thank you and Merry Christmas.
