Just wanna say...

The new Cold War turned hot wargame from On Target Simulations, now expanded with the Player's Edition! Choose the NATO or Soviet forces in one of many scenarios or two linked campaigns. No effort was spared to model modern warfare realistically, including armor, infantry, helicopters, air support, artillery, electronic warfare, chemical and nuclear weapons. An innovative new asynchronous turn order means that OODA loops and various effects on C3 are accurately modeled as never before.

We couldn't afford a computer when I was young so I used to play SPI's 5th Corps and BAOR solo. They were part of the Central Front series and had a great Friction Point system where you could keep up a high-tempo but it quickly wore your units out. Combat was integrated with movement, IIRC

Great series. One of my favorites.

Good Hunting.

I've played Mech Brigade, Overrun, Red Lightning, A number of the Someplace 85 games, Tanks, and the list rolls on. All very good computer game in their own right. Board game would be another list of size too. [:D]
OTS is looking forward to Southern Storm getting released!

Loved that series (V Corps et al) as well. Very innovative.

Just got thru the tutorial in FPC. I am VERY impressed! A lot of thought went into this, and I love how my guys called in the airstrike intelligently - right on the unit I'd have chosen to go after. Cool!

I can already tell this one feels right. Hard to explain. I can tell some like-minded people designed this baby.

Oh yeah, has anyone noticed this game is gorgeous? Looks like a super-high-quality board game and I love the little divisional markings. Lots of nice small touches like that really add up.

Looks like they might've hit this one outta the park. So far, this is the only thing that's managed to pull me away from Command!
