with some reinforcements arriving, and catching the CSA off guard in the rear, seems the plan is starting to pay off, lets hope it carries on the same way, until game end hopefully.

as the CSA leaves the heights to counter the attacks in the rear, now is such a good time for me reinforcements to be marching down the road to support the guns in front, as the box slams shut, the fight begins

seems they don't want to be attacked on 2 sides and stay put and don't advance on me, so when my extra 1000 men as reinforcements come i may carry on the attack on them, in both directions at once

as my reinforcements arrive near my guns, next turn i'll move them into position and restart the attack for the guns, then the VL, or that was the plan, but for me i pay far too much for the guns and wish now i had the men back in stead of attacking them

while the guns and supply are gone, only the infantry are left, but my fresh troops will hopefully prove now too much for them without too much cost to me

while i've pushed too hard one of my units rout's after heavy lost and too long in contact on it's own and out of HQ radius, something that no amount of care now will recover, more reinforcement join in the battle, in a few turns i'll replace the losses with fresh troops and finally have the strength to remove the last few units on the heights and take the last VL

well that could have gone better for me, some bad and so so moves and results there, so seems the CSA has more than enough fight left in them, with my morale taking a big hit, all units are now in hold or rally mode, so no attacks from me and will be pulled back asap

well i'm not going in the direction i want to go, but troop morale still needs to be higher or i'll lose on a morale loss, so back i go, but heading for better ground where i'll hold
