I just tried to install all 3 fonts, went back into game, and they are still missing.

When I clicked "install" on OratorStd.otf a message popped up saying that this file was already installed. (This was my second attempt a few minutes ago to make sure it wasn't working properly.)

I have just uninstalled SC3, reinstalled with administrator privilege, applied the hotfix.

I have then gone to the game's font folder and attempted to install all three fonts. Each of them reported that it was already installed.

Upon starting the game, I do not have the 'multplayer' title after clicking on the multiplayer option from the main menu, nor do I have the scenario name when selecting new game.

Windows 7 Home.

Hello everyone,

We should start to work out if there are any similarities between everyone who are having the missing text issues.

Could you all let us know what Operating System and Graphics Card you are all using?

Thanks in advance!

W7. I don't know about graphics stuff, but the interweb tells me this is the info about the graphics card.

Oh, and I have the missing text issue. I have two other scenarios that I've added and I can mouse over the area where the text is missing and see the scenario descriptions and open them.

Thanks for all the reports, and for the production team looking further into this.

I'm thinking to remove the need for these fonts and for the game to just use similar Windows system fonts instead... should remove a lot of this headache.

I do not have the fonts either. I have an NVidia GTX 970 on Win10 x64. I had the same issue with 1.06 but I thought that was part of the standard (interface still being developed) so I didn't report it.

One thing it might be is a missing font from your installation... can you try navigating to your SC installation folder and then going to the Fonts folder?

After that right click on the OratorStd.otf file and select 'Install'

Let me know if that resolves it for you,
Hubert

I was having the issue. I did this and it resolves the scenario name missing. But, I can't see the Multiplayer title. Strange.
My setup is Windows 10 64 bits - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980.

Hubert - I did the fix you suggested and it did fix the campaign name showing up. but not the Multiplayer text. Did you want us to do same technique for HaginCapsMedium.otf too?

<<edit>>
went back and re-read thread and see that it was suggested and yes - it does now show Multiplayer on the MP menu.

Yea - I can read titles now - hehe :)

[:D] Lucky you. That's for months that I was saying no to the Windows 8.1 -> 10 upgrade...
