Is there any change to stop a 1 turn Poland conquest?

I'm not advocating it, just curious as my opponent has taken Warsaw turn 1 and Poland has not surrendered.

Furthermore, they are showing as 96% national morale !?!

This suggests that some scripts haven't fired, are you playing an official campaign or a mod?

While Poland may not surrender immediately on the fall of Warsaw, her NM should be a lot less.

Hi rjh1971,

There are two options in the ADVANCED screen, one is the 'Enemy target highlights', this highlights the targets with a red hex, and the second option is 'Enemy Losses Highlights', and this one displays the predicted combat results.

Perhaps this second option is still enabled on your end?

Hubert
Hi Hubert, thanks for your reply. Unselecting "estimated losses highlights" leaves it like I had it before the patch, estimated losses only when I hover over an enemy unit. I hadn't notice/tweaked this last one.
So now everything is clear :-)

They surrendered on turn 3 - axis second turn - maybe nothing's changed, just seemed a bit weird

When you log in after your opponent has resigned, the replay shown is of your own move, which is...err, different

Think it depends on when the resignation occurs.
Replay shows "last completed" turn.
In our game, I called it quits before any action.

You took me to the 1944 Door.

Thanks, I've got to the bottom of it, it turns out that there are two National Morale scripts in our WWII: War in Europe game that aren't included in this game. I think it must have been an oversight so have made a note to include them in a future update.

Explain, where now it is necessary to keep the garrisons in Manchuria, that the USSR did not raise the mobilization?

Previously, there were partisans, and even earlier, the hexes were highlighted, now neither the partisans nor the marked hexes, it is not clear where the key points are now...

Hi IIo4Tu,

Do you have the following enabled on your end?

Image

Once enabled you should then see the marked positions in Manchuria as well as the extra info when you mouse hover over the positions.

Using the P key will also show the Partisan locations as well.

Hope this helps,
Hubert

This could be as expected depending upon the in game date of your current turn, e.g. the Warsaw indicator will not display until the end of February 1940.

Is this possibly the case on your end?

You may need to press the blue button at the top right of the information panels so that in game information shows up.

When your mouse is hovering over it, it way say Hide/Show Map Info. Hopefully pressing that will get them to show?

Alternatively, the locations are listed on the second page of the 1939 Strategy Guides, and these can be accessed via the Launcher or in game from one of the buttons at the top right.

It looks like French Somaliland does not capitulate on the Fall of France and the creation of Vichy

I don't recall that being a % chance

maybe a script is missing there?

I believe this was changed in the previous patch, that if you keep an Allied unit in Somaliland capital when France surrenders, it will stay mobilized with the allies. However, as soon as you move your allied unit out, it will go neutral and out of the war.

That is right, because some people were losing non-French Allied units when they shouldn't have been. I can't remember the exact details now, but this is the least worst solution.
