Re: New Update Issue

Post by JuanMi »

Hola/Hello.

My version of Windows is Win-7- Enterprise.

When updating to version 6.1.7601.65536 I see that the screen where the map and game units should appear appears in "gray" (first img).

I also see that the program does not manage the screen well since hiding the RIGHT SIDE INFORMATION PANEL, does not restore (repaint) the map screen correctly. :o (first img)
The same thing happens with the message window (second img), which when minimized leaves a trace on the map screen (third img).

In order to see the "clean but gray" map screen, I have to minimize the C:MO and then maximize it again....

Hi.

Windows 7 is not supported anymore after the 64-bits update (1328.x), the reason is that besides the 64-bits, DirectX 11.2 rendering was also included, and is not available for W7.

Only the now named legacy version, 1307.19, works in W7 even if it is 64-bits.

Unfortunately the only alternative is to upgrade your Windows version, preferably to at least W10.

I have Windows 10 and am also experiencing the same white/grey screen issue, I am curious what exactly changed? the 64bit version works fine just not the slightly newer update.

Also please note also that the system requirements page hasn't been updated and still list DX9C and Windows 7 as valid.

Really? You should send your Dxdiag file to the devs.
